Contestant Photo, Video & Name Release

This Photo, Video & Name Release applies to selected contestants participating in Miss Silicone Los Angeles and related Miss Silicone USA promotional, production, media, and event activities.

By signing or accepting this Release, the contestant grants the permissions described below.

1. Permission to Use Name and Likeness

The contestant grants Miss Silicone USA and its organizers permission to use her:

Legal name
Stage name or nickname
Image
Likeness
Voice
Photographs
Video recordings
Audio recordings
Instagram handle or approved social media information
Approved biographical information

for purposes connected with the promotion, production, publicity, and documentation of Miss Silicone USA, Miss Silicone Los Angeles, and related events.

2. Promotional Use

The contestant understands that approved content may be used in:

Official website pages
Contestant profiles
Social media
Flyers
Posters
Digital advertising
Public voting pages
Event screens
Event presentations
Press materials
Media coverage
Sponsor-related content
Event recap content
Future promotional materials
Casting promotion
Promotional videos and reels

3. Event Photography and Video

The contestant understands that the event may be photographed, filmed, recorded, streamed, or otherwise documented.

This may include:

Red carpet photography
Stage photography
Backstage content
Interviews
Rehearsals
Promotional shoots
Social media content
Sponsor activations
Audience and event footage

The contestant agrees that she may appear in such content.

4. Public Voting and Contestant Profile

The contestant authorizes the organizer to create and publish a contestant profile for public voting and promotion.

The profile may include:

Stage name
Approved photographs
City
Instagram handle
Approved short bio
Other approved promotional information

The organizer may use this profile on the website, social media, event materials, and voting pages.

5. Signature Cocktail and Event Identity

The contestant understands that her approved stage name or nickname may be used in connection with a signature cocktail or other contestant-themed event element.

This may include:

Menu placement
Event signage
Social media promotion
Promotional photography
Event announcements

7. Editing and Format

The organizer may reasonably:

Crop photographs
Resize images
Edit video
Add captions
Add event branding
Add sponsor branding
Create short-form social content
Combine footage with other event materials
Adapt content for different platforms and formats

The organizer will not intentionally use the contestant’s image in a false, defamatory, or materially misleading manner.

8. No Guarantee of Use

The contestant understands that granting permission does not guarantee that any particular photo, video, interview, or profile will be published.

The organizer may decide which materials are suitable for promotion or publication.

9. Compensation

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the contestant understands that she will not receive additional compensation solely because her name, image, voice, or likeness appears in official event promotional content.

Any separate prize, paid engagement, modeling assignment, sponsorship activation, or commercial agreement will be governed separately.

10. Ownership of Event Content

Photographs, video, graphics, edits, and other materials created or commissioned by the organizer remain subject to the rights of the organizer and/or the photographer, videographer, production company, or other creator.

The contestant does not acquire ownership of such content solely by appearing in it.

11. Contestant-Provided Materials

If the contestant provides photographs, videos, or other promotional materials, she confirms that:

She has the right to provide them
Their use will not knowingly violate another person’s rights
She grants permission to use them for competition and event promotion

12. Duration

The permissions granted under this Release are intended to continue for as long as the relevant promotional, archival, historical, or event content remains in use, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement.

13. Archival Use

The contestant understands that previously published or distributed content may remain available in:

Archived website pages
Social media posts
Press coverage
Event recaps
Historical promotional materials
Media publications

The organizer is not required to remove third-party publications or materials that were lawfully distributed before a later request.

14. Third-Party Media

The contestant understands that accredited media, guests, sponsors, and third parties may independently photograph or record portions of the event.

The organizer does not control all third-party uses of independently created content.

15. Withdrawal Before Selection

An applicant who has not yet been selected as a contestant may contact the organizer regarding withdrawal of application materials.

Once a contestant is selected and participates in promotional production or the live event, rights already granted and content already created or published may continue to be used as described in this Release, subject to applicable law.

16. Privacy

Personal information that is not approved for public promotion will be handled according to the Miss Silicone USA Privacy Policy.

Private application information will not be intentionally published as part of contestant promotion unless separately authorized or legally required.

17. Acknowledgment

By accepting this Release, the contestant confirms that:

She is at least 21 years old
She has read and understands this Release
She voluntarily grants the permissions described above
She understands that event content may be used for promotion, media, sponsor integration, and future Miss Silicone promotional purposes
She has had the opportunity to ask questions before accepting

18. Governing Law

This Release is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
