Official Rules
Miss Silicone Los Angeles
These Official Rules govern participation in the Miss Silicone Los Angeles competition and related casting, promotional, production, voting, and event activities.
By submitting an application or participating in the competition, each applicant agrees to comply with these Official Rules.
1. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Submit a complete application
- Provide accurate and current information
- Provide recent photographs
- Be available for required rehearsals, fittings, production activities, and the live event
- Follow organizer, venue, safety, and production instructions
- Meet wardrobe and production requirements communicated during casting
Clothing size may be considered for production and wardrobe purposes.
Height is not a restriction.
Breast augmentation or other cosmetic procedures are not required to participate.
No prior pageant experience is required.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
2. Casting
Applicants may be evaluated based on factors including:
- Overall presentation
- Confidence
- Personality
- Charisma
- Communication
- Stage presence
- Professionalism
- Ability to engage an audience
- Suitability for the event
- Ability to follow production direction
- Availability and reliability
The organizer may select, decline, waitlist, or remove applicants at its discretion based on legitimate production, safety, conduct, or event considerations.
3. Application Information
Applicants must provide truthful information.
False, misleading, or materially incomplete information may result in rejection or disqualification.
Application information may include:
- Legal name
- Stage name
- Age
- Height
- Clothing size
- City
- Contact information
- Photographs
- Videos
- Casting responses
Private application information will not be publicly disclosed unless authorized or required for event participation.
4. Stage Name
Selected contestants may perform under an approved stage name or nickname.
The stage name may be used for:
- Contestant profiles
- Social media
- Event graphics
- Public voting
- Promotional materials
- Event announcements
- Signature cocktails
- Other contestant-related promotional elements
The organizer may request changes to a proposed stage name if it is unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringing, or unsuitable for the event.
5. Promotional Use
Selected contestants may be promoted through:
- Miss Silicone USA website
- Miss Silicone Los Angeles pages
- Social media
- Flyers
- Digital advertising
- Public voting pages
- Event screens
- Press materials
- Sponsor-related content
- Photo and video campaigns
By participating, contestants agree to cooperate reasonably with promotional activities connected to the competition.
Additional image, video, likeness, and name rights may be governed by a separate Photo, Video & Name Release.
6. Event Participation
Selected contestants must comply with schedules and production requirements.
This may include:
- Rehearsals
- Fittings
- Check-in times
- Stage calls
- Photo and video sessions
- Interviews
- Promotional appearances
- Competition activities
Failure to attend required activities without reasonable notice may affect eligibility.
7. Conduct
Contestants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
Prohibited conduct may include:
- Harassment
- Threats
- Violence
- Unsafe behavior
- Intentional disruption
- Repeated refusal to follow production instructions
- Materially false statements
- Deliberate damage to event property
- Conduct that materially harms other contestants, staff, sponsors, guests, or the event
- Deliberate dissemination of materially false statements intended to damage the organization or another participant
The organizer may issue warnings, remove a contestant from an activity, or disqualify a contestant depending on the seriousness of the conduct.
8. Disqualification
A contestant may be disqualified for reasons including:
- Material violation of these Official Rules
- Fraud or false information
- Harassment or abusive conduct
- Serious safety violations
- Repeated failure to follow required production instructions
- Material misconduct affecting the event or other participants
- Violation of venue rules
- Unlawful conduct
Where appropriate, disqualification may be final and without reinstatement.
9. Judging
The competition may be evaluated by an appointed judging panel.
Judging criteria may include:
- Confidence
- Stage presence
- Personality
- Charisma
- Overall presentation
- Communication
- Individuality
- Audience connection
- Professionalism
- Overall impression
The weighting of criteria may be determined by the organizer and judging panel.
Judging decisions are final except in cases of verified administrative or tabulation error.
10. Public Voting
The event may include a public voting component.
Public voting may be used for a separate recognition such as People’s Choice or another announced category.
Voting methods, eligibility, timing, limits, and procedures may be determined by the organizer.
The organizer may remove fraudulent, automated, manipulated, duplicated, or otherwise invalid votes.
Public voting does not necessarily determine the main Miss Silicone Los Angeles title unless specifically announced.
11. Titles and Awards
Titles may include:
- Miss Silicone Los Angeles
- Vice Miss
- People’s Choice
- Other titles or recognitions announced by the organizer
Awards may include:
- Titles
- Cash prizes
- Sponsor gifts
- Products
- Promotional opportunities
- Media exposure
- Future participation opportunities
Specific prizes may change before the event depending on sponsor commitments, availability, legal restrictions, or production needs.
No prize is transferable unless approved by the organizer.
12. Sponsor Gifts and Products
Contestants may receive products, gifts, services, or promotional benefits from event sponsors or partners.
The organizer does not guarantee the value, availability, suitability, or performance of third-party products or services.
Any regulated product must comply with applicable law and venue requirements.
13. Wardrobe and Styling
Contestants may be required to wear event-approved wardrobe, costumes, accessories, or styling.
Wardrobe requirements may be based on:
- Available costume sizes
- Production design
- Stage safety
- Sponsor integration
- Event aesthetics
Contestants must notify the organizer of relevant wardrobe or fit issues as early as possible.
The organizer may make reasonable substitutions where necessary.
14. Health and Safety
Contestants are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate safely.
Contestants must follow:
- Venue safety rules
- Production instructions
- Stage directions
- Reasonable health and safety requirements
The organizer may remove a contestant from an activity if continued participation presents a material safety concern.
15. Photo, Video, and Recording
The event may be photographed, filmed, recorded, streamed, or otherwise documented.
Selected contestants may appear in:
- Event photography
- Video
- Social media content
- Promotional campaigns
- Sponsor content
- Media coverage
- Future Miss Silicone promotional materials
Specific usage rights may be governed by a separate Photo, Video & Name Release.
16. Media and Interviews
Contestants may be invited to participate in:
- Interviews
- Red carpet coverage
- Social media content
- Press opportunities
- Sponsor content
- Promotional shoots
Participation in certain media activities may be required as part of the event production.
Contestants must not knowingly make false statements on behalf of the organizer or falsely represent an official position of Miss Silicone USA.
17. No Guarantee of Exposure or Results
Participation may provide opportunities for visibility, content, media exposure, networking, and personal-brand development.
However, the organizer does not guarantee:
- A specific number of followers
- A specific number of views
- Media coverage
- Career opportunities
- Sponsorships
- Contracts
- Sales
- Revenue
- Publicity results
Actual outcomes vary by contestant and circumstances.
18. Event Changes
The organizer may make reasonable changes to:
- Schedule
- Venue
- Stage format
- Production order
- Program
- Judging procedures
- Voting procedures
- Contestant lineup
- Promotional activities
Changes may be made due to production, venue, safety, legal, sponsor, weather, scheduling, or other legitimate event considerations.
Contestants will be informed of material changes when reasonably possible.
19. Postponement or Cancellation
If the event is postponed, contestant participation may be transferred to the rescheduled date.
If the event is cancelled, the organizer may determine whether:
- The competition will be rescheduled
- Applications will remain active
- A new casting process will be required
- Alternative participation opportunities will be offered
20. No Employment Relationship
Participation as a contestant does not automatically create:
- Employment
- Agency
- Partnership
- Joint venture
- Guaranteed paid engagement
Any separate paid engagement must be agreed to separately.
21. Intellectual Property
Miss Silicone USA and Miss Silicone Los Angeles names, branding, logos, event designs, and related materials may be protected intellectual property.
Contestants may not commercially reproduce or exploit official branding without permission.
Contestants retain rights to their own pre-existing materials, subject to permissions granted for event promotion and participation.
22. Third-Party Rights
Contestants must not submit photos, videos, music, trademarks, or other materials they do not have the right to use.
The contestant is responsible for obtaining any required permissions for materials personally submitted to the organizer.
23. Privacy
Applicant and contestant information is handled in accordance with the Miss Silicone USA Privacy Policy.
Private application information is used for casting, administration, production, safety, and related event purposes.
24. Acceptance of Rules
By submitting an application, the applicant confirms that:
- The information provided is accurate
- She has read these Official Rules
- She agrees to comply with them if selected
- She understands that submission does not guarantee selection
Selected contestants may be required to sign additional agreements or releases before participation.
25. Interpretation
The organizer may interpret these Official Rules in good faith when questions arise regarding production, eligibility, safety, conduct, voting, or event administration.
Any interpretation must remain consistent with applicable law.
26. Governing Law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
