Sponsorship Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Sponsorship Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to sponsorship reservations and purchases made through the Miss Silicone USA Sponsorship Marketplace.

By reserving or purchasing a sponsorship opportunity, the sponsor agrees to this Policy.

1. Sponsorship Reservations

Available sponsorship opportunities may be reserved for up to 24 hours without payment.

During the reservation period:

  • the selected inventory may be temporarily removed from public availability
  • the sponsor is expected to complete payment within 24 hours
  • no payment is charged at the time of reservation
  • if payment is not received within 24 hours, the reservation may automatically expire
  • expired inventory may immediately become available to other sponsors

A reservation does not create a completed purchase until payment has been successfully received.

2. Sponsorship Payments

Sponsorship payments are processed through Stripe.

The merchant of record is:

ANDY STAR

Payment inquiries:

andystar.losangeles@gmail.com

All sponsorship prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

3. 48-Hour Cancellation Period

A sponsor may request cancellation of a paid sponsorship purchase within 48 hours of successful payment.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Send requests to:

info@misssiliconeusa.com

and include:

  • company or sponsor name
  • contact name
  • email used for purchase
  • sponsorship order or confirmation number
  • sponsorship placement purchased
  • reason for cancellation

Requests submitted within the 48-hour period will be reviewed and processed where applicable.

4. After 48 Hours

After 48 hours, sponsorship purchases are generally non-refundable.

This is because sponsorship inventory is limited and, once purchased, may be:

  • removed from public availability
  • reserved exclusively for the sponsor
  • incorporated into production planning
  • included in event design
  • used in printing, branding, wardrobe, signage, digital materials, or other preparations

Refund requests made after 48 hours may be considered individually, but approval is not guaranteed.

Any exception must be confirmed in writing by the organizer.

5. Organizer Error

A refund, credit, replacement placement, or other appropriate resolution may be offered where a material problem was caused by the organizer.

Examples may include:

  • duplicate payment caused by a system error
  • incorrect sponsorship amount charged
  • inability to provide the purchased sponsorship placement
  • material failure to deliver the agreed sponsorship opportunity

The organizer may first offer a reasonably comparable alternative placement before issuing a refund.

6. Event Postponement

If the event is postponed, the sponsorship will generally transfer automatically to the rescheduled event date.

The organizer will notify sponsors of material changes, including:

  • new event date
  • new venue, if applicable
  • changes affecting the purchased placement

A postponement does not automatically create a right to a refund.

If the new date or venue creates a significant issue for the sponsor, the organizer and sponsor may discuss an alternative solution individually.

Possible solutions may include:

  • transfer to the new date
  • comparable sponsorship placement
  • event credit
  • other mutually agreed arrangement

7. Event Cancellation

If the organizer permanently cancels the event and does not reschedule it, affected sponsors will be contacted regarding available options.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include:

  • refund
  • credit toward a future Miss Silicone USA event
  • transfer to another event
  • alternative sponsorship placement
  • another mutually agreed solution

8. Changes to Sponsorship Placement

Event production may require reasonable changes to a purchased sponsorship placement due to:

  • venue requirements
  • safety concerns
  • technical limitations
  • production changes
  • legal or regulatory requirements
  • weather
  • availability of equipment
  • changes to event layout

If the exact placement cannot be delivered, the organizer may provide a reasonably comparable placement of similar promotional value.

A reasonable production adjustment does not automatically qualify for a refund.

9. Regulated Products

Sponsorship involving alcohol, food, beverages, beauty products, health-related products, or other regulated goods or services is subject to:

  • applicable law
  • venue policy
  • licensing requirements
  • safety rules
  • event approval

If a proposed activation cannot legally or safely be used, the organizer may modify, replace, or decline the activation.

Where possible, a comparable alternative will be offered.

10. Sponsor-Provided Materials

Sponsors are responsible for providing required materials by communicated deadlines, including where applicable:

  • logos
  • artwork
  • product
  • signage files
  • gifts
  • wardrobe
  • promotional materials
  • installation materials

Failure by the sponsor to provide required materials on time may prevent full delivery of the sponsorship.

In that situation, the sponsorship is not automatically refundable.

The organizer may attempt to provide a reasonable alternative where possible.

11. No Guarantee of Results

Sponsorship provides the purchased placement or activation, subject to event and production conditions.

The organizer does not guarantee:

  • specific sales
  • specific leads
  • specific revenue
  • specific website traffic
  • specific social media reach
  • specific impressions
  • specific views
  • media coverage
  • viral content
  • return on investment

A sponsor’s dissatisfaction with business results does not create a right to a refund.

12. Third-Party Costs

The organizer is not responsible for third-party expenses independently incurred by the sponsor, including:

  • travel
  • accommodations
  • shipping
  • outside production
  • staffing
  • printing
  • product costs
  • agency fees

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these expenses are the sponsor’s responsibility and are not reimbursable.

13. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method where possible.

Processing times may depend on Stripe, the sponsor’s bank, and the card issuer.

The organizer is not responsible for banking delays after a refund has been successfully initiated.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Sponsors are encouraged to contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel contractual or sponsorship obligations where the purchased service was properly provided.
